So yes, it’s been forever since I’ve updated this blog. I’ve really been slacking on all my blogs lately. Hopefully I can be a little bit better from now on.
Life at the Kimmel home has been very good. Trevor’s job is going great, as is mine. I really couldn’t be more blessed to have such a fantastic and flexible job that I can do from home! The kids are growing up so fast, and it’s just been great to be their mom (well…some days).
Maddie is seriously smart as can be. She’s reading very well, and loves to learn new things. Her favorite thing is to ask “What would happen”. So I say don’t do that, and she says “What happens when I do that?” We are looking into various school options for next fall. She barely misses the cutoff to go to Kindergarten for the fall, but academically she is completely ready for it. Her Preschool teacher tells us that she is at the level she should be at the END of Kindergarten. We had her tested for a private school locally, and she only missed a couple of questions about vowels. She is just too too smart!
Michael is the MISCHEIF BOY! He’s a professional crawler and within the blink of an eye can be completely across the room. His favorite things are Holly’s water dish, and trying to get into the entertainment center. As soon as that door is open he is jetting across the room to get into it. He doesn’t have any teeth yet, but is getting excellent at gumming his food, and can pretty much eat anything that you don’t need to really bite through.
I’m starting to really get somewhere with my blogs and am excited for the trips I’m going to be taking this summer! We also have a family trip planned this summer too, which is going to be so much fun! I best get going back to the grind. Michael needs to go to sleep!
Let’s make a sisterly pact to update our family blogs more often!!!
I need to update my blog more often too! Your kids are seriously so cute! Lexi loves hanging out with Maddie, we need to do play dates at the park for sure when it is a little warmer. You’re trips this year are going to be a blast!
